Mia and Jonathan endeavor to create a timeless journey of love with movement inspired by Isadora Duncan and the poetry of Sappho. The music is created on a replica of an ancient Greek lyre, antique gongs, and voices lifted in song. The sung fragments are historical memories from Sappho's poetic fragments found in Egyptian papyrus for mummy wrappings, the sawed-off 2,000 year old pillar known as the Epitaph of Seikilos, and echoes of contemporary underground performing arts which are woven to create an uplifting visual and aural experience.
